But Acadia National Park, up in Maine, is on my list of places I want to camp in, if we ever get enough time to do it. I did some on-line research about the natural beauty of Maine, and looked at maps and other information about the state, in order to write my werewolf saga. The Maine Academy is in a wilderness area, at least a couple of hours away from the nearest civilization. That's the way the residents like it. They have plenty of forested land for the ones who grow fur and four paws occasionally to run on, and trails for everyone to run on with two legs.
And the parents who send their teenagers there for the excellent, private education, know that if the unforeseen happens and a wolf "presents" itself to their child, there will be plenty of adults to help the new wolf/person adapt to a shared life.
