Since I spend so much time at my laptop, either cruising through my e-mail, or writing, I've gotten really used to sitting for long periods of time, and reading/writing. But one of the big debates raging now is over whether or not e-readers are going to explode as the next big thing, or if readers still prefer a 3-dimensional book they can hold onto. As an author, I don't care which one you prefer, as long as you buy MY books! ;-D
But if you want an autograph, you'll have to order the actual paperback.
The 2 biggest advantages that I can see of e-books, is that they are always cheaper, and they don't clutter up your bookshelves when you are done with them. Most fiction novels are read once, maybe twice. I've given away BOXES of them to the local library for their fund-raisers. Boxes and boxes of romance novels, mostly. But the e-reader units are still pricey.
What do you other readers think? E-books, or paperbacks? And why?
