So, how do cookies and writing get connected? Easy! While I am making cookies, the characters in my head just naturally start to "talk" to me, and scenes get worked out. I "see" how events unfold, I "hear" entire conversations...so while I'm baking my Christmas cookies, I'm working on my books. Win-win for everyone!

It's interesting. I seem to get into a thinking groove when I'm deep into cleaning. I do cook, but I just started baking sweets so my thinking is preoccupied with kitchen chemistry. But, I feel if one is invested in something other ideas begin to pop and percolate. How many times have people had interesting ideas at the most inopportune times to write them down?

I write:
Contemporary Erotic Romance.

Contemporary: Because to me, sex without birth control is a very scary concept!
Erotic: Because I think about sex all of the time, like to read about it, and think love stories without it are boring.
Romance: Because the most important thing any of us ever experience will be finding our true love. I enjoy learning other people's experiences. Come share with me what happens to my characters.
